The day's activities including play, refreshments and presentations lasted a little over six hours with many parents and supporters staying throughout and many more coming and going as their particular iinterest determined. Thanks to all who provided nibbles and their were many willing hands ready to serve. Thanks to the managers looking after each of the teams and although there may have been a litle gentle rivalry, there was great sportsmanship as the various coaches would regard the players on all sides as their players. Thanks to Caoimh and Aodh for refereeing several games each.

In all eight teams took part in the Pagett Cup and Shield, the George Walsh Cup and the Morgan Darcy Cup competitions Such were the numbers for the Pagett Cup & Shield competition that an early start was required with four teams involved and two 9 a-side semi-finals to be played simultaneously. One semifinal was highscoring throughout and was only decided by a last minute goal, while the other scoreless at halftime burst into life in the second half. These semifinals were followed by an 8 a-side George Walsh U14 Cup final. There were no u12 takers for this competition with their own Cup and Shield finals to follow. A three point gap was all that separated the sides at the end. The Pagett Cup final soon afterwards ended with a margin of a single point. The final cup for decision saw the numbers swell to 11 a-side as a number of u14 players signed up to go for the double or consolation. Two goals for the "green" team looked to have delivered an unassailable 5 point lead but a late late onslaught from their "white" rivals brought two goals and a single point victory.Winning Captains
