Round 1 Draw

Clarinbridge V Kilconieron

Rahoon/Newcastle V Cappataggle

Kilbeacanty V Moycullen

Craughwell V Oranmore/Maree

Ballindereen V Ahascragh/Fohenagh

Meelick/Eyrecourt V Abbeyknockmoy

Gort V Killimor

The Intermediate Championship is almost as complicated as the Senior.

Round I An Open Draw of the 14 teams, 7 vs 7. Winners all qualify for Group stages.

Round 2 Prelim Six of the seven losers in Round 1 are drawn to playoff 3 v 3. Remaining team get a bye to Round 2 proper

Round 2 The three losers from the previous round and the team who had the bye are drawn to playoff 2 v 2. The two winners are the final qualifiers for the Group stage. The losing teams in Round 2 playoff and the loser of that is relegated to Junior A.

Round 3, 4, 5 The 12 qualifiers are drawn into 3 groups of 4. The top 2 in each group qualify. Two group winners are drawn and get a bye into the semi-finals. The remaining Group winner drawn in quarter finals with second placed teams, 2 v 2.

The shortest path to the final is 5 games as the longest (without replays) is 8.
