Killimor's win over Clarinbridge has improved the scenario for Moycullen in that Moycullen would qualify if level on points with Killimor only given their previous win in the head to head. However, should the table remain the same with wins for both Abbey and Kinvara, the scenario could be very complicated and the rule book could be out. Based on history the most likely outcome is a three way play-off which is why it is crucial Moycullen get something from the Abbeyknockmoy game. Indications are that these playoff games would be fixed for midweek next week.

A win could very likely see them second in the group due to head to head record with Abbeyknockmoy, but if that were matched by a win for Ahascragh Fohenagh all 4 teams qualifying teams would finish on equal points. Points difference would be redundant because of the Craughwell walkovers so playoffs would be needed to determine the final order of positions and thus the quarter final draw.
