After a the two week shutdown in club GAA activity, some teams are back in action.

The U16 team look to complete their campaign on a high note with a Shield Final victory against Kiltormer in Clarinbridge on Thursday evening at 6.30pm. There will be little break for most of that team as U15 Championship is scheduled to resume on Monday though this might go out by a week to allow the completion of the u13 competitions. Mágh Cuilinn u13 have an A1 semifinal to look forward to against Ardrahan.

The Junior team are in action in Turloughmore against Mountbellew/Moylough in the B Championship at 7pm on Saturday.

That away league fixture against Cappataggle is set for tomorrow week but with both sides set to meet in a crucial championship decider before the end ogf the month there may be some reluctance on the part of both teams to play.

In an event worthy of mention, before the summer break we welcomed Clifden Hurling Club to join in our final U10 training session of the term. It was a lovely evening and both young and old enjoyed some fun games. Great to see huge effort enthusiasm in the far west supported by their Connemara neighbours who might be a few years longer on the road. See U10 page

U10 Hurling Training resumes on Friday 22nd August at 6.30pm. Hope you are all enjoying the break. Keep hurling lads!
