U14's come out the wrong side of some narrow results

The U14 A1 team have been unlucky in the latest rounds of their A1 Championship campaign. In the home game against Mountbellew, they went down by a single score to lose by a goal. In the succeeding re-fixed against Athenry they were undone by a last minute goal to lose by two points. This was especially unfortunate as some players were away for Easter break. Four games remain and with a win on the board from Cappataggle, the team can still qualify for the knockout stages. The fixtures switch from Saturday to Monday evenings with the change in the time and in the next fixture they are again at home to Craughwell this Monday 15th at 6.30pm.
Our U14C are having a tough time of it. Featuring all U13 and some under 12 players they have been meeting older and stronger teams and some unexpected opposition at this grade including Sarsfields first team. The results have been one sided but there have been some great battling performances. They are away to Ballinderreen first team on Monday at 7pm.
