Cumann Iománaíocht Maigh Cuilinn are holding a Golf Classic in Oughterard Golf Club on Friday 28th October 2011. By happy coincidence our Club are also contesting our first County Intermediate Final since 1964 on that same weekend.
We are asking for your support on what will hopefully be a fantastic weekend for our locality and one that will see Mágh Cuilinn re-join the top tier of Galway hurling. You can do this by
(A) entering a team in our Golf Classic, but there are already a lot of teams entered so space is tightening up (see Golf Teams, Tee Times & Team Sponsors)
or
(B) sponsoring a tee box for the day.
The cost of entering a team is €100 (€25 a head). A tee box costs €20. There will prizes for seven teams ranging from €200 to €800 per successful team. We would like to thank our Platinum sponsirs for their support in allowing us to offer such good prizes.
Each tee box sponsor will be acknowledged on the day and on this website as some have been already (see Golf Classic Sponsors). We would ask our members to support, where they can, our supporters, by giving their business to those involved.
Cumann Iománaíocht Maigh Cuilinn caters for over two hundred hurlers in Moycullen and surrounding areas between the ages of six and forty six. It is a long-established and integral part of our community. Any support would be gratefully received. To enter a team or purchase a tee box contact one of the following:
