"Our U14s have a nervous wait on Sunday's game between Turloughmore and Meelick Eyrecourt in Clonfert. A win for Turloughmore will mean a play-off with Meelick Eyrecourt in Baile Doite for the last semi-final spot." A Turloughmore team having already ensured qualification with a win over Tynagh-Abbey-Duniry were second best to a Meelick Eyrecount side needing a result at home to qualify. A home win saw Meelick-Eyrecourt leapfrog Turlough' into third place. However both sides lost their semifinals, with Kinvara reversing the group result against Killimordaly in the final to win the Championship.
Moycullen went to the shield competition as top seeds and overcame Craughwell; Tynagh-Abbey-Duniry who had drawn with Loughrea in the group game, won their semifinal tie this time.
