Time of Game in Ruislip confirmed
Post date: Nov 18, 2011 2:14:41 AM
The GAA has confirmed the throw-in at Ruislip for the All Ireland Intermediate Club Championship Quarter Final as 1pm. Given the game will be subject to extra time in the event of both sides being level at the end of normal time and the fact that London is 40 minutes daylight east of Galway, it was though prudent to set a 1pm throw-in.
We aware there are huge numbers appear to be travelling to the game with several popular hotels around Ruislip reported to be booked, incuding Days Hotel and the Premier Inn. The following hotels have been suggested by Galway people in Ruislip.
There are other Premier Inns in London Greenford and Hayes nearby.
Flights in and out of Heathrow are less available and more expensive but there is still value and availability in Luton, Gatwick, Stansted and Birmingham although this may involve a return flight on Monday.
