Complicated Playoff Required for Minor B

We suggested things might fall this way, even we failed to notice a couple of walkovers had not yet been allocated with the result that Ahascragh Fohenagh top the Group rather than being involved in playoff. Carnmore fought out a ding dong battle with Cois Fhairraige with both teams finishing level on 2-16 to 3-13. Abbeyknockmoy not fielding means points difference cannot apply.

There are a number of ways the position could be decided. If all of Abbeyknockmoy's results are excluded to separate teams Mágh Cuilinn and Cois Fhairraige swap places on scoring difference. If the points and scoring from the games involving the four teams only are included, as a mean of separating the teams, Mágh Cuilinn would have four points and a scoring differnce of +4, Rahoon/Salthill would have four points and +1, Cois Fhairraige 3 points and +9, with Carnmore on 1 point and -16. However no rules exist to decide things either way, so play-offs involving three games per team are likely.
